Travel to adventureous Leh-ladakh
Leh Ladakh I know the word itself has charm. The only thing strikes is trip with buddies. It’s nevertheless than a dream. So apparently this is one of my dream and since I never give up on my dream I ran up to Leh for an amazing adventure trip. Julley from Leh! In Ladakh, that signifies “Hello” where everyone is eager to welcome you. Nothing compares to the rough trails and breathtaking scenery of Leh Ladakh when it comes to adventure. This is an adventure junkie’s dream come true, whether they wish to face the heights of the Khardung La Pass or simply get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Since it is near the Chinese border and its history is intertwined with Tibet. It offers an intriguing combination of cultures and cuisine.
Khardungla Pass
We rented a bullet to drive all the way to Khardungla Pass, the world’s highest motorable road, and one of the most exciting things to do in Leh Ladakh is driving on it. Driving through the bumpy paths was a challenge, but as we know with friends every paths becomes easy. The roads were a little slick, but once we got to the top of the globe, it seemed like it was all worth it. After admiring the magnificence of the Khardungla Pass, we made our way to the Deskit Gompa, where we tried our hand at meditation among the monks. After that, we drove to Hunder hamlet to observe the desert’s double-humped camels.
Nubra Valley
Once you cross the pass, you’ll arrive in Nubra Valley, which is one of the most popular things to do in Ladakh. Nubra valley is a large, open region of desert formed by the confluence of the Nubra and Shyok rivers. So many Ladakh road trip images are taken because of the lovely coloured scenery along the way. It is made up of unspoiled villages, vast stretches of beach, and lakes. You’ll feel like you’ve reached a new era with no signal connection and a ticket away from all current ways of living. In the valley’s vicinity sits the world-famous Pangong Lake. There are other other water bodies to explore and enjoy in Ladakh that are yet to be discovered.
Pangong Tso Lake
A tour to Ladakh is incomplete without a visit to the Pangong Tso Lake, the hidden valley’s jewel. With a height of 14000 feet, trust me when I say that words cannot adequately describe the beauty of this natural wonder. This was the site that left us feeling delighted, thanks to the crystal clear blue water that changes colour. Hundar, a desert town near diskit, is located where the Shyok River joins the Nubra. Hundar is bordered by vast sand dunes, and a camel safari is one of the most popular Nubra Valley activities.
Changla Pass
On our way back, we stopped at the Changla Pass, the world’s third-highest motorable road. Driving through Changla is no walk in the park; crossing the road, which is flooded with thousands of little streams, requires exceptional driving skills, especially as the snow on the upper slopes begins to melt. Chang La Pass’s main draw is its magnificent beauty and stunning vistas from every angle. Before crossing the pass, visit the Chang La Temple, which is devoted to Changla Baba, whose blessings are required.
Since we were short of time that we were unable to explore in this beautiful paradise. Turtuk Village, Drass memorial, Hundar camel ride, Magnetic Hill etc.
I’d never felt so sad about leaving a location before. I silently praised the Gods for such a magnificent masterpiece. I boarded the flight back to Hometown, leaving behind the amazing people of Ladakh, the unspoilt simplicity of life in the mountains, the changing colours during the day, and most significantly, the best experience of my life.
