• Viluppuram: The majestic building of Matrimandir, affectionately referred to as the soul of the city,’ is the major attraction of Auroville. It sits in the town’s center, surrounded by lush green pastures and trees. The nice weather and friendly locals make Auroville a wonderful visit.
• Ariyankuppam: The Pondicherry Museum houses valuable antiquities and relics unearthed on the site. They provide tourists with information about Arikamedu’s history and culture.
