Travel to Discover Self-Love in Bali
Bali – Land of God’s
My story of Bali
So, yeah, I went to Bali to heal and find self-love. Small things had escaped my notice. I had lost myself in a life full of deadlines. To put it another way, I needed to reconnect with nature to reconnect with myself. So I went to Bali to heal myself accidentally.
I wanted to go with the pace and see what happens. I arrived in Bali empty-handed, but the island had plenty to give. Bali is the one spot I would suggest to anyone looking to refresh or rehabilitate themselves. It’s one of the best places to chill and relax, thanks to beautiful people and startlingly vibrant sceneries.
However, I learned soon that Bali provides you with precisely what you asked. I desired peace and was duly blessed.
Overview
I was soon surrounded by majestic waterfalls roaring with thudding sound, rice paddies streaming down green hills, pristine beaches cuddling the white and black sand beaches, volcanoes striking the skies, scenery dotted with sacred grove, lush green canyons hidden with monsoon clouds, mist-covered lakes playing hide and seek with clouds, tropical vegetation bustling with wildlife, and exotic fruits of Bali.
Underwater sports
Regrettably, I am a non-swimmer otherwise underwater exploration, water sports like White water rafting in Ubud, Snorkeling, Paragliding, Banana boat ride, Jet Ski would have been incredible.
Nusa Penida Island
After completing all of these activities, I was keen to explore more, so I drove to Nusa Penida Island for some rest and leisure. And I was astounded by the stunning views of Diamond Beach, Atuh Beach, Teletubbies Hill, Banah Cliff point, Tembling natural pool, and Rumah Pohon Treehouse, which is an ideal spot to stay overnight.
Gili Trawangan
I went to a Spa for a Balinese Massage the other day because I was exhausted, which is such a lovely way to relax. The massage uses a range of techniques to calm and restore you, including gentle stretches, acupressure, reflexology, and aromatherapy. As I was getting set to embark on my next adventure in Bali, I unknowingly travelled to Gili Trawangan via ferry, where time flies by because there is so much to see and do at Gili T. As soon as I arrived at Gili T, I booked a room at “Aston Sunset Beach Resort,” a budget-friendly and funky hostel with a great outdoor pool, airy room, a clean and sophisticated facility surrounded by nature. The locals were quite welcoming and recommended a few sites in the vicinity of Gili T. And indeed, they were correct about the incredible beauty of the beaches, as well as the breathtaking sunset view. If you enjoy water sports, a day excursion to Lombok from Gili T will be exhilarating.
Cafes
Although I am not a big party person, I believe that Bali is a heaven for clubbers. Some of the biggest nightlife attractions in Bali are Café Rockybar in Jimbaran, Potato Head Beach Club, Cucoon Beach Club, Sunday Beach Club, and Karma Beach Club.
Lake Batur
After visiting all of Bali’s exciting locations, the view of Lake Batur from the Lakeview hotel on Kintamani Volcano drew my attention. The hotel that would normally refuse guests had no guests except for me. The only sounds I could hear were rumbling trees, chirping birds, and my own thoughts. It is, without a doubt, the greatest time to talk to oneself while listening to such sounds.
Food in Bali
Being a vegetarian has its own set of difficulties. My luggage usually contains more food packages than anything else. So it’s either packaged meals or fruits for me. However, when it comes to exotic organic food to die for, Bali is the perfect location to go. Until I tried an Indian restaurant in Kuta, I never had a terrible meal in Bali. Vegan travellers will appreciate the abundance of vegetarian and vegan meals available in Indonesian cuisine. I tasted a variety of cuisines, including Mexican, Mediterranean, Thai, American, and fresh-from-the-farm Organic.
People in Bali
Bali’s talented craftspeople reside in specialized Handicraft Villages. Batubulan for stone carving, Celuk for silver and gold jewellery, Mas for wood carving, and Pengosekan for painting are some of the creative villages worth seeing. If you’re looking for fun things to do in Bali, go to the Ubud Art Market, Sukawati Art Market, Guwang Art Market, Kumbasari Art Market, and Kuta Art Market to see the incredible artistry and ingenuity of the island’s craftspeople.
I’ve made lifelong pals with everyone I met in Bali. Balinese are a peaceful, god-fearing people. Every single person you meet will grin. For no apparent reason, people are joyful. They’re happy with who they are. They’re having a good time. Their minds are calm, and they are thankful for the opportunity to work each day. They are proud of their heritage, but they are also open to learning from different cultures. Knowing their folk tales and getting a glimpse into their lives is a fascinating experience.
